We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Title Services Coordinator to join our team. This role plays a critical part in the title closing process related to new and/or existing timeshare sales or the recovery of inventory for acquisition. The coordinator will prepare and process various title documents related to real property conveyances; title search using various systems and public records to determine and/or confirm ownership of the underlying real estate; performing curative actions to clear title defects.

As the Senior Title Services Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

• Subject matter expert for all functions supported by the Title Services team.
• Assist with answering questions from department employees as it relates to the various processes handled; and engage with external 
contacts (i.e. title underwriters, attorneys, etc.). 
• Assist with the coordination of work assignment for team as needed.
• Assist with development, documentation and implementation of policies, process flows and procedures. 
• Review existing policies and procedures with management and offer feedback regarding opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with preparing and maintaining reports for recordings, developer escrow releases, and bank reconciliations.
• Assist with training of new team members. Provide advanced training for existing team members.
• Assist supervisors and manager with running, creating, and maintaining weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual reports.
• Assist and be available for coverage backup for department processes and functions.
• Assist with the auditing of team member files for performance matrix purposes.
• Support management with maintaining, monitoring, testing, scanning, and workflows as well as testing other technology related to 
departmental functions. 
• Provide feedback to management to help ensure best practices are in use. 
• Look for opportunities to enhance processes and functions. 
• Support with inventory and recording resolution issues. 
• Work with management to provide cross training for personnel.
• Carry out any reasonable requests by management of which the employee is capable of performing.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 3-5+ years of related experience in banking, real estate, titling, and/or finance
  • Effective organizational skills alongside the skill to prioritize and navigate multiple software platforms
  • Ability to produce high volume work product that has a high degree of accuracy
  • Must have strong communication skills to convey problems with contracts and required resolution with field sales offices.
  • Working knowledge of MS Excel with creating and maintaining spreadsheets 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree/College Diploma
  • 5-7+ years of related experience in banking, real estate, titling, and/or finance
  • Title Agent license or certification
  • Advanced MS Excel experience with creating and maintaining spreadsheets
