  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance on heavy equipment, including machinery and systems, to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential issues, assess equipment condition, and implement preventive measures.
  • Lead and mentor a team of junior technicians, providing training on safe and efficient maintenance practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance teams and hotel departments to ensure a coordinated approach to facility upkeep and guest satisfaction.
  • Document all maintenance activities, equipment issues, and repairs accurately, maintaining detailed records for future reference and analysis.
  • Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices, attending relevant training and workshops to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations, promoting a safe work environment for yourself, colleagues, and guests.
  • Communicate effectively with hotel management, providing timely updates on maintenance activities, and addressing any concerns or queries promptly.
  • Assist in developing and implementing innovative maintenance strategies to optimize equipment lifespan, minimize downtime, and reduce operational costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including proper waste management and disposal practices.
  • CPO certification is preferred, or extensive experience in heavy equipment maintenance with a proven track record of success.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar maintenance leadership role, demonstrating strong technical skills and a deep understanding of heavy machinery operations.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and analytical approach to identifying and resolving complex equipment issues.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire a team of technicians, fostering a positive and safe work environment.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate with diverse teams and provide clear instructions and updates.
  • Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments, including confined spaces and outdoor conditions, with the stamina to perform physical tasks.
  • A safety-conscious mindset, with a commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe work culture, and a willingness to lead by example.
  • A continuous learning attitude, staying updated with industry trends and technologies, and adapting to new maintenance practices and equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, with the ability to travel for off-site equipment maintenance tasks as required.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet tight deadlines.
