Pay: $75,000-$80,000 annually with 10% bonus eligibility

- Leads a team of highly motivated Technicians.
- Completes property repairs and manages capital projects with company guidelines.
- Guides and grows team members for future career opportunities.
- Develops and completes the pivotal initiatives for the Engineering department, and makes adjustments to the operations in order to meet the strategic goals and interests of Resort Operations
- Ensure that the property’s Emergency Preparedness and Safety Awareness Plan(s) are updated and current at all times.
- Maintains an accurate inventory of operating supplies and ensures that proper purchasing procedures are followed to maintain an adequate supply.
- Ensure all assets of the department, equipment, supplies and storage are properly locked and secured.
- Manage relationships, contracts, compliance, and interface issues with the operation’s business supporters and suppliers to ensure business needs and financial responsibilities are handled in a timely manner
- Performs other related activities as required.

To fulfill this role successfully, the individual should possess the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 3-5+Years of engineering experience in hotels or related industry.
- 3-5+Years of managerial in the same or similar environment.
- EPA – OSHA 10-30 – CPO certifications.
- HVAC – Electrical – plumbing specific.
- Project management experience.
- Ability to write and speak English to comprehend and communicate job functions to engineering staff.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Flexible Schedule.
In addition, the following qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, and experience are preferred:
- This team needs a strong hands-on people leader to maintain 30 years down to 30 days experience.
- Critical Thinker and ability to troubleshoot is heavily needed, can’t always call the vendor
- Financial experience strong – maintaining budgets and projects
- Project Management medium
- CPO needed (we can certify)
- HVAC and/or Boiler knowledge is highly recommended
- Manages the grounds, pools, and general upkeep of the building and 116 units while collaborating with corporate on future projects.
