Hilton Vacation Club is seeking a talented and experienced painter to join our Maintenance team at Bayside Resort.
As a Painter at Bayside Resort, you will be an integral part of our Engineering Department, ensuring the resort’s interior and exterior spaces are well-maintained and visually appealing. Your expertise in paint and drywall techniques will be crucial in enhancing the resort’s overall aesthetic and guest experience.

Responsibilities:
- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of paint and drywall experience and be adaptable to schedule changes.
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and repairing as needed.
- Apply paint, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
- Match colors and textures to ensure a consistent and professional finish.
- Work with drywall to repair and patch damaged areas, ensuring a smooth and seamless result.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule painting projects based on the resort’s needs.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Keep track of paint and supply inventory, ensuring an adequate stock for upcoming projects.
- Assist in special event setups, ensuring the resort’s spaces are ready for guests and events.
- Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues, providing updates and addressing any concerns.
- Stay updated with the latest painting techniques and trends to enhance your skills.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of documented paint and drywall experience is required.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of paint application techniques and an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Excellent physical stamina and the ability to work at heights.
- Flexibility to accommodate schedule changes based on the resort’s demands.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel to and from the resort.
- Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting technologies.
- A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
