We are seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Clerk to join our team at Hilton Vacation Club, Mill Springs Lodge in Pigeon Forge, TN! In this position, you will ensure every interaction with an owner or guest is a positive and memorable experience while checking them in and out of the property and responding to their requests. Schedule Details: Full – Time; Open to working a variable of shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Front Desk Clerk, you will be:

  • Greeting guests and owners on arrival.
  • Generating folios and collecting payments.
  • Preparing and consistently restocking the front desk with supplies, including preparing arrival packets and area information.
  • Answering phones and directing calls.
  • Offer outstanding customer service and build rapport with guests.
  • Check-in and check-out guests efficiently, ensuring a smooth and timely process.
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform administrative duties as required.
  • Promote a positive and professional image of the resort at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Stay updated with resort offerings and local attractions to provide accurate information.
  • Ensure the front desk area is well-maintained and presentable.
  • Handle guest feedback and suggestions, and communicate them to the relevant teams.
  • Performing other duties as assigned by your leader.

What are we looking for?

To fulfill this role effectively, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on active listening.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and basic office software.
  • A positive and friendly attitude, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Flexibility to work evening shifts and adapt to changing schedules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A plus one mentality, always going the extra mile to exceed guest expectations.
  • Proficient English Language
  • Ability to multi-task responsibilities and prioritize duties to meet organizational goals.
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods of time
  • 6-month Customer Service Experience
