Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and emergency maintenance on pool equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues, utilizing advanced diagnostic techniques.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on all hotel facilities, identifying and addressing potential problems.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to implement preventive maintenance programs.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and provide exceptional customer service, addressing maintenance concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and generate reports as required.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, especially in pool areas.
  • Train and mentor junior maintenance staff, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in maintenance and hospitality.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance, with a focus on pool and heavy mechanical systems.
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or equivalent.
  • Strong working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills for complex troubleshooting.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, for effective guest and team interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software and basic computer skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and carrying equipment.
