We are now seeking for a Housekeeping Supervisor to join our team at Odyssey Dells in Wisconsin Dells, Wi. This outstanding resort provides comfortable stays in a roomy 1 or 2 bedroom villa with all the comforts of home, including full kitchens and baths, fireplaces, balconies and more!  In this position you will supervise Housekeeping operations to include rooms, common areas, and heart of the house areas to achieve and maintain the resort’s standards of cleanliness.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising Housekeepers
  • Making sure guests requests are met in a timely manner.
  • Communicating with Maintenance and Front Desk: Maintenance needs, if a room needs to be put offline, etc.
  • Quality checking rooms daily.
  • Keeping Front Desk agents updated on room status’.
  • Ordering supplies for housekeeping and laundry, and amenities for rooms and keeping checkbook updated.
  • Monthly Linen Inventory, ensuring par levels
  • Responsible for rolling out new standards
  • Developing SOP for Best Practices
  • Ensuring all public areas of the resort are clean and well kept.
  • Other duties as assigned by your leader.

Schedule Details: : Our Housekeeping Department operates 7 days per week. The Supervisor may work varying days, including weekends and holidays. 

What are we looking for?

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • 1-3 years of related experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Proficient English language to communicate both verbally and in writing with guests, owners, co-workers, and fully comprehend job assignments
  • Ability to repeatedly lift/carry, push/pull items more than 25 lbs.
  • Ability to walk/stand for prolonged periods of time

Preferred but not required:

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree
  • CPR/First Aid
  • 2+ years of Supervisory experience
  • Prior housekeeping experience in hospitality industry
