Currently seeking team members who are passionate about building lasting vacation memories for owners/guest visiting our resort properties!
As a Lead Barista, you will lead the team of Baristas to ensure quality and service is at an outstanding level displaying warmth and friendliness to guests and owners.
– Able to successfully lead the staff to maintain a very upscale atmosphere.
– Follows up with baristas during the shift to ensure the delivery of excellent customer service.
– Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
– Provides quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
– Prepares and maintains employee schedules in accordance with Culinary Workers Union contract ensuring coverage adequate staffing for shifts and break periods without going over budgeted labor dollars.
– Ensures accuracy in handling cash, credit card and room charge transactions.
– Programs all new items and pricing for the Micros POS system.
– Sets up and breaks down events or coordinates team members to handle.
– Monitors and updates expiration dates and food spoilage to ensure only the freshest food items are sold.
– Ensures all items are stored and labeled accurately according to health standards.
– Communicates information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary.

– 1 year minimum previous customer service experience
– Must be flexible to work any day of the week, any shift to include weekends and holidays
– 2-3 years food and beverage experience with proven leadership ability.
It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
– Experience in scheduling and training
– 1 year previous supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
– Acquire a Health and Alcohol Awareness card upon offer for hire.
