Job Description

As a Maintenance Pool Technician I, you will be responsible for the daily cleanliness and maintenance of the resort’s pool facilities and public areas, ensuring a positive guest/owner experience using the resort’s amenities.

Schedule Details: Our Maintenance and Engineering Department operates 7days a week. The Shift will be assigned between 5am – 3pm.

 

Additional Responsibility:

  • Conducting pool maintenance and ensuring the cleanliness of pool and public areas to includes unclogging drains, plumbing, repairing pool equipment (pumps, heaters, filters, and electrical switches), plunging toilettes, painting, and surface repair.
  • Maintaining all tools and pool equipment to ensure all equipment is clean and in accurate working order to includes ensuring the proper use and cleanliness of equipment and those tools are returned and secured in accurate storage areas at the end of your shift. Communicate with the supervisory team on needed supplies and tools.
  • Systems Supervising to monitor systems as vital to include emergency systems and having general familiarization with fire Sprinklers and emergency power systems.
  • Records to read, log track and interpret readings from meters, gauges, and other pool equipment measuring systems. To Maintain a thorough daily log of pool maintenance activity and to ensure the proper information is communicated to the Sr. Pool Technician and other technicians on the following shift.
  • Ensure the safety and prevention of accidents in and around the pool areas for both Team Members, guests/owners and proactively correct any unsafe conditions.
  • Assist other Maintenance Technicians on various projects and Grounds staff on the cleanliness of surrounding areas adjacent to the pool facilities as determined by the management team.

To fulfill this role successfully, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience. 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Certified Pool Operator (CPO) license
  • 1+years related experience
  • Ability to lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, walking, hearing, Driving, and sight

 

It would be advantageous to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions.

  • Driver’s License
  • More than 3 years related experience
