As a Laundry Attendant at Shore Crest Vacation Villas in North Myrtle Beach, you would be responsible for carrying out your position’s responsibilities in alignment with our Spirit of Service culture and driving company success through performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

Key Job Functions:

  • Provides excellent customer service answering the guests inquiries and/or provide general information about the resort
  • Operates large machinery (weighing scales, professional washers, dryers, and folders)
  • Ability to successfully fold and sort a variety of linens and terry items
  • Transports clean and dirty linen to and from Operations and the Buildings
  • Reports maintenance deficiencies in order to maintain room in compliance with resort standards
  • Follows all safety procedures/standards and is able to recognize and act in emergency situations
  • Exposure to cleaning chemicals, vibrations, humidity, sold, heat, dust, and noise
  • Follows company philosophies, policies, and procedures
  • Ensures resort follows all federal, state, and local laws including OSHA
  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards (established and revised by HGVC)

Requirements:

  • Hospitality Qualifications preferred
  • High School/GED preferred
  • Some related experience preferred
  • Able to move large and heavy objects
  • Able to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal or written form
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Full flexible schedule required: mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
